Choose the Tourism degree at KAMK, if you wish to obtain the knowledge and skills to manage and develop tourism businesses sustainably. During the studies, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the different aspects of the tourism industry, such as accommodation, catering and programme services and event management. You will study the current trends and phenomena in the tourism industry and build a strong competence base for multidisciplinary collaboration in the tourism operational environments. Studying in a multicultural group supports the development of your expertise into a professional for the international tourism industry.
The program is designed as a blended learning format, combining on-campus and online components, allowing students to study while working. Contact teaching days are mainly organised on two consecutive days (Monday and Tuesday) once a month at the following address: Ilkantie 4, 00401 Helsinki. Please check the requirements related to residence permits concerning studies offered in blended format, if you are not currently living in Finland. The entrance exam for this programme also takes place in Helsinki, Finland. In addition to the physical lectures, the studies consist of online lectures, independent learning, group work, discussions and assignments. It is not possible to complete the whole degree online.

During this English-taught degree, you will study in an international group and working in a multicultural environment is part of the learning process. Foreign students will study the Finnish language as part of their studies.
The studies are worth 210 credits and take 3.5 years to complete. The degree consists of basic studies, professional studies, optional professional studies, free-choice studies, practical training and a thesis.
